Our bartending classes include:

  1. Fundamentals of bartending and mixology.  Learning proper stirring and shaking mechanics,  bartender vocabulary,  tools, glassware, and other fundamentals that bar managers and owners will be impressed with!
  2. Highballs are standard cocktails with one liquor and one mixer.  This includes pour  counts, and learning the  most commonly ordered drinks.  For instance, you may know the  screwdriver is simply a vodka & orange juice.  But you may not know there are literally a dozen variations on this basic drink!   Learn the perfect mojito and how to properly muddle.  There is a name for a vodka cranberry.   What is the IBA recommended method to make a Moscow Mule?
  3. Craft basics:  What are craft cocktails and what.
  4. Wine & beer: Our nationally recognized beer and wine courses offer not only tastings but knowledge and real experience that will help you land the perfect job,  & give plenty of information to discuss with your friends.  Also emphasizes the new craft beer movement!
  5. Customer Service: The dos and don’ts of mixology!    Why should a bartender never bring up politics at the bar.  What does ABC stand for?    Simple tricks on ways to increase your tips!
  6. All about liquors & cordials: How is whiskey made?  What is the difference between gin and vodka?  How do you make mescal?    Learn both the history and relevancy of the main spirits.
  7. Shots, shooters and tiki drinks: What are the twenty most commonly ordered shots  & shooters?     How have tiki drinks evolved over the last 50 years?    Learn the perfect mai-tai, and see for yourself how to create flair and entertainment in making some fun, popular drinks.
  8.
